JJ Shepherd & Son Depot on Church St, Oughtibridge in 1958

Former Shepherd colleague Rowland James has sent us a photo taken at the JJ Shepherd & Son depot on Church St in Oughtibridge in 1958 and features two old Shepherd vehicles.

The vehicle the left is the ‘Yorkshire Queen’. an AEC Momoth Major, 8 wheeler rigid, Reg YWX 791.

On the right is the ‘Yorkshire Duchess’ which is a ERF, 8 wheeler Rigid, Reg 4118 WU.
